A stustainable furnituresystem The system relies on easily available readymade round stock as basis for the furniture. They get joint together by the Trico-connector through which they get oriented orthogonal to each other. Following this easy principle allows to create surfaces and volumes such as tables, shelves, coat hangers and many more.
The Trico connector consist of two identical plastic parts which are made of extruded and recycled polypropylene. Both halves are joint together with a single screw.
The high sustainability is not only derived by the recycled material but also from the high flexibility and reusability of the connector. The furniture can be adapted to the needs of the user and the round stock can be replaced if it breaks.
The goal of Trico is not only to reuse old plastic-waste but also to minimize furniture waste by creating a universal furniture system.
